Mocopi is a new full-body tracker made by Sony. It has six trackers: Two ankle trackers, two wrist trackers, one hip tracker, and one head tracker.

The trackers are lightweight and come in a small container to keep them neatly organized when not in use. Sony aims to make the containers completely without plastic as an effort to reduce their environmental impact to zero by 2050.

Mocopi is only in Japan now, but with the demand in Europe and the Americas they will be coming this way soon. They are going to cost 49,500 yen, so roughly about $369.

Sony plans on releasing Mocopi late January 2023. Pre-order starts mid-December.

Mocopi is great for outdoor use!

Mocopi trackers can be used both indoors and outdoors. Mocopi trackers are stand alone and can be set up through a phone. This will make it where stand alone quest users can use full-body. Mocopi is completely wireless and is connected to the phone through Bluetooth.

This product can be revolutionary for Quest users in VRChat and VTubers.

Sony is going to provide a SDK for Mocopi. The SDK will be provided on December 15. With this SDK you get real time movement on your PC. With the SDK Sony hopes that Mocopi can be used for virtual fitness as well as the metaverse.
